Chinhoyi University of Technology Staff Sports Association (CUSSA) will host South African, Botswana, Malawian and Zambian Universities’ staff sports teams from June 29 to July 2, 2017 at Chinhoyi University of Technology for a mid-year sporting extravagance that should see close to eight hundred athletes from Southern African Region gather at CUT.

Sefako Medical University (South Africa), The Botswana Institute of Science and Technology-BIUST (Botswana), University of Zambia-UNZA (Zambia), Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (Malawi), Africa University-AU (Zimbabwe), National University of Science and Technology –NUST (Zimbabwe), Zimbabwe Open University- ZOU (Zimbabwe) have so far confirmed their participation.

Teams will participate in soccer, netball, volleyball and pool disciplines. The tournament will also accord the local Universities to network with staff members from regional universities and also prepare for SAUSSA games to be hosted in South Africa by Fort Hare University in December 2017.
