LSU staff is set to move to the main campus in Lupane
LSU staff is set to move to the main campus in Lupane on the 1st of June 2016.
In preparation for relocation from Bulawayo to Lupane, LSU staff had the opportunity to tour the campus and the Lupane community.
The Senior Assistant Registrar in the Human Resources Section, Mr Nkosilathi Ncube and the Director of Physical Planning, Works and Estates, Howard Bekezela. Ndlovu led the staff to tour the accommodation facilities which have been allocated for them.
Most of the staff members seemed to be pleased by the progress which has been done so far.
The rooms have fitted study desks and drawers and have curtains as well. The female student hostels has been finished while the male student hostels and the dining hall are left with a few touch-ups.
Current accommodation on campus is inadequate for all staff members hence additional space would be sourced from Lupane Town.
“Since the number of staff which will be moving here now exceeds the rooms we have, other staff members will have to stay outside campus, said Mr Nkosilathi Ncube.
